Anyway, hey everyone. Haven't been updating my blog for a very long time, been busy with life and studies, yeah right, PMR's in like 75days and I haven't even actually started focusing on my studies. Wtf.

So, something tragic happened recently, so my apologies if I'm not in my best mood, or behavior. That was just for precaution; snapped at people when they don't even know what happened. I guess that's about it la, not really in a mood to update anyway. I'll see you guys when I do. Bye.

So.... how's everyone today?

Gah, nowadays there are just lesser things to blog about. Been busy creating new variations for various dances, so.....sorry for neglecting this once-lively blog. So to feed this hungry blog, I shall present to you a dance video I recently made, like yesterday, Chilling Elegance. For people who owns a Facebook account, you are very welcome to go check it out on my page itself; and for those who doesn't own a Facebook account, well, you can still watch it here anyway, so.....

Back.

Hello everyone, first of all....

A PUBLIC APOLOGY FOR THE NEGLECTION
OF THIS BLOG

and how's everyone?

As written in extra large font, I'd like to formally apologise for ignoring this blog for almost a month now, haven't been free enough to update my blog. So yeah, sorry.

To summarise the story of what happened while I was gone; well, lots of things happened. LOL There was camp and what not; school has been a bitch, with extra classes nowadays. What's more, this Fifa thing is getting on my nerves, I mean, that's all people talk nowadays! 22 people chasing after a ball size of a head; what, football too expensive for you? But then again, it's very influential how everyone's talking about it, and I think I'll be watching Germany vs Spain's match- Oh god, what the hell am I saying?

Eclipse is coming out tomorrow. Unfortunately, my sister's too lazy to bring me to go watch it, and I doubt my parents would let me go out with my friends considering PMR is in like, 2months' time. Ahh, fck it, Imma just download it :B

Haven't been drawing much lately, and I'm serious when I said I lost my drawing skills D: But all in all, I've certainly been better, gained back my confidence and best of all..... I JUST LEARNT TO TOPROCK, will be making a video soon, but before that, enjoy this trailer of Eclipse and a video I made during holidays :D

Aching

Hey people, I'm sad today )': (Lol, is that how the emoticon's suppose to be?) Well, the holidays are coming to an end, and I have unfinished Ms. Kuah's work. You know, scary chinese maths teachers, lovely.

Recently I have an interest for contemporary dances, so I actually made a routine like, 20minutes ago, was going to film it straight away, but my body was aching already so....let's leave that for tomorrow (: Anyway, holidays have been uhhh....unproductive and lazy, haven't been studying much, I have no idea what I'm going to do for my 3rd Intervention S:

Moreover, I haven't been drawing much lately, I think I lost my touch for sketching. gasp. And well, I should be going now, I don't have much to blog about and I have Ms Kuah's work to deal with. So....BYES~

Hey everybody~ Remember when I last said I'll make a dance video? No? I don't blame you either, cause I haven't made one in a long time; but finally, after like, 3months since my proposal for a video, I finally made one. Well, not really, it's a dance cover for Taeyang's Wedding Dress, which is pretty cool, so check it out as well. But before that, here it is, the dance video I promised you guys 3months ago! Enjoy!

POKEMON with Sha

So I've been playing Pokemon lately, trying to get my mind off some things, I'm sure
everyone's playing Pokemon to get their mind off something depressing.

Anyway, I'm currently training to challenge the Elite 4 for the second time, no, I did not wtfbbqpwn em' the first time, apparently the champion, Cynthia wiped me out with her Garchomp so.....Yeah, it's payback time. It's quite fun really, you can get it in the itnernet for free and play on the computer. Sigh, these freeloaders, really..... Shit, that's me too S:

And so, everyone seems a bit sad lately, especially during this holiday season, including myself. So... Don't be, plenty of things to look forward to in life, I think? Drew this picture just for those who are sad and suicidal, which ironically, includes me as well. Enjoy~

Tiny Things

Today I went to Mid Valley.

I have to say, I feel rather down for some reasons. My mom asked me to wait for her outside of Cold Storage, beside a food sample counter. Without anyone I can really tell my problems to anymore, I felt suicidal. Yes, the seriously slit-your-throat-jump-off-a-building suicidal. Then, I got a text message from a friend and realized just how much I missed that person. Just then, a kid passed the food sampler counter and the woman offered him some sweet, he took it with a big smile and ran off; he came back later with his younger brother and asked for a sweet for him, and the woman gave anyway, now the both of them ran off happily, the woman looked at me and smiled, and I couldn't help myself but to smile at the situation, too.

Sometimes, I just wish I could disappear and watch how tiny things make the world a happy place, without me in it.

Done by me, as usual.

Things-to-Do

So, holidays officially began and I made a list of things to do, though I'm sure I'm not really going to follow it, but here it is:

PRODUCTIVE THINGS TO DO DURING MID TERM HOLIDAYS
  • Eat
  • Drink
  • Eat
  • Sleep
  • Eat
OK, I believe eating is dominating the list, so let me restart it again

PRODUCTIVE THINGS TO DO DURING MID TERM HOLIDAYS besides EATING
  • Going out with friends
  • Visit my grandmother
  • Learn the piano(like wow?)
  • Finish the non-PMR subjects' homework
  • Study(aha, you know I won't)
  • Dance(hopefully?)
  • Download Devil May Cry 4
  • Install Devil May Cry 4
  • Reformat computer
  • Play Devil May Cry 4
  • Stare at Facebook
  • Start drawing a manga
  • Eat
Yeah... I'm really looking forward to draw a manga, though I'm pretty sure I'll quit halfway through it, you know me :) SO that's about it for now, keep reading and in hopes that I am able to embed my dance video on my blog, byes~

Grace

Hey there, everyone! As we all know, today's the first day of the mid term holidays, and I decided to spend my morning updating my blog, since its been dying at my absence and all.

So yesterday, my school celebrated Teacher's Day, and since I'm more familiar with the school this year, I decided to participate in the performance as well. As I mentioned before in one of my previous post, I stated that I will be forming a school dance group call Philharmonic Movements to compete and perform in school activities, and for Teachers' Day, we decided to remake Expression Crew's Marionette performance.
It wasn't easy, people joined and quited the group here and then, but we got everyone together in the end anyway. We only started concentrating on our performance a week before the day due to exams and managed to finish the choreography just in time before the real day.

So the day kick started with traditional dancing, and some singings and what not; then it was time for Nicholas, Nat and I to perform an intro for 5Dedi's sketch(since we were supposed to perform as Talentime's champion and all X:) , it didn't really turn out as I expected but it still won part of the crowd. Then, the rest of the performance went on as I hurried to get my face painted, and soon it was time for the Marionette performance, and i dare say, the teachers looked really fascinated with the choreographer, special credit goes to the b-boys. Anyway, our performance went on smoothly and received quite an applause. All in all, the event went on smoothly, some activities for the teachers were held after the performances and the teachers looked like they were having a jolly good time.
Talentime Winners
I, for one who's having a really fcked up life in school, enjoyed myself for once in a long time; and everytime I look at the picture the entire Philharmonic Movements took yesterday, I would smile to myself and say, "Such good times" though it was only just yesterday.
I love you guys,
and I'm not even gay.

It Broke the Dancer's Hamstring

Hello there, I'm back with yet another update after 2 weeks or so and I'd like to say,

I'VE GIVEN UP ON MY SECOND ALBUM D:

That's probably because I can't draw the same way as I did, which is a good thing really. Recently I've worked on my sketches(credit goes to MarkCrilley) and I can't revert to the previous style I used to draw, so I can't really continue with the album as it emphasises on a specific style. So yeah...

Exams are over, though I don't feel any less relaxed. First of all, I have to choreograph a dance with the length of 3minutes by next Wednesday.; it's a performance by the Philharmonic Movements to appreciate our gratitude to our teachers for the Teachers' Day. Now, for those of you who are wondering, "what the heck is Philharmonic Movements?" Well, fellow curious cats, it's this group of dancers in my school who were naturally brought together by well, me, to perform and compete in any competitions that involves dancing.

Speaking of Philharmonic Movements, since we are the champions for SMKBB's Talentime 2010 (not bragging, pssh), we were ordered to perform an encore on Teachers' Day as well, so that makes two performance for me. And I found out I have participate in this dance which my friend is going to choreograph for Teachers' Day, so that makes it three performances. Not to mention the stress that I'm going through now, given an ulcer to suffer from, I am definitely not relaxed.

That's about it for now, I guess now's where I present my sketches like I did in the previous posts, so....Enjoy!

Quotations II

Blonde: What's idk?
Brunette: I don't know.
Blonde: OMG, nobody knows!

Thien Wei: Why can't you put the giraffe in the fridge?
Andrew: I don't know.
Thien Wei:Cause the elephant's in it, HA!
Andrew: Go to tartarus.
Thien Wei: Aww D:

Sorry for not updating for so long, lots of things happened and I didn't really have the time to do so. . . . . .yeah.

Two weeks ago, these two lovely teenage kids who shared the passion of ballroom dancing when for the first ADC Dance Competition, and for those who are blonde and doesn't know what ADC stands for, it's an acronym for Asian Dance Council and well, it's this dance organisation where all the ballroom dance studios in Asia combine together to do uhh....stuff.

Anyway, back to the main topic, so these two kids- gah, screw it, so we joined the competition and competed in the Novice catergory, and mind you, Novice might come right after Beginner, but it's tough considering everyone there has about 7years experience at the very least and size big/tall enough to belittle us(since we're 15 and 17 after all). So we got together as dance partner for about 4weeks and went straight for competition along with other dancers in my studio.

Competition fell on the 9th of May 2010, went all the way from KL to Shah Alam's sports stadium 'thing'. It was huge, considering it's a sport stadium and all. I'll just skip the description part and go straight to the competition details. Our studio has 3 representatives for Novice Ballroom catergory, all of their experience are the double of mine, and definitely way buffer than me(not that that counts) However, strange thing was that, everyone single one of them were eliminated in the quarter final rounds, and I was like, how the hell did I even get pass to the semi finals? At first, I thought it was sheer luck, but then, we made it through the finals after all! That was when the pressure came. Because apparently, we were the only couple from our studio who entered the finals, and even more apparently, we were the one of the two Malaysian couples who entered the finals, while the rest are Singaporeans and Hongkies. Like whoa.

Well, to make long story short, we got 5th out of 7 in the end, and we pwned the other Malaysian couple(who sadly, got 7th) and yeah, we lived happily ever after. As for me, I find this a BIG achievement, because I've never entered finals for Novice before, closest I got for Novice was semi finals before I got eliminated, let alone getting 5th among other Asia competitors. Coolios~

So I guess that's about it, diagnostic starts tomorrow, I still wonder why I'm still in front of this computer. I should probably be studying now, so yeah, BYES~

Oh wait! One last thing, got 1st place for school's Talentime, which is good :D KTHXBAI

Happy Andrew
LOL

Quotations

Andrew: Whoa, was that a thunder?
Chunkz: Oh no, some fat guy just happened to fall off the stairs 3 seconds after the lightning flashed.
Elliana: LOL

Devil:Eat the muffin, forget about dancing!
Tempted Boy: No! Never!
5minutes later...
Devil: Eat the muffin, forget about dancing!
Tempted Boy: I am! I am!

Happy Birthday Zhi Yu!

Anyway, I'm back with another post after yet another period of neglection. If you haven't notice, I changed my blog header, all rights reserved to my spiffy pet sister, Natassya.

So where do we start from here? Well, Talentime isn't working out right, 2 members quit and the choreography's messed up; but that's not the only stressing job here, tomorrow's my competition and I'm not well ready yet. Sigh.

Attended open day yesterday without my parents. No, I'm not an orphan, they were coincidentally 'pre-occupied' with things. Anyway, went there to escort parents to their children's class, was a sweaty job and well, it just got even tiring when I heard they need to set up the PA in the auditorium, and coincidentally, every form5 who holds the key to the store that contains the PA gizmos went home , and left me alone in school to think of an ingenius plan, which I did anyway.

It was Zhi Yu's birthday yesterday as well. For those who are wondering who's she, she's my dance school's headmaster's daughter and yeah, we love her all so very much. Elliana, my very good friend brought this mini version of this machine you see in the arcade(which a certain girl who likes ducks going gaga over it); it's this box with a claw on it's roof, where you operate it with joysticks to grasp the gifts at the bottom. I tired playing it and well, I was never good at these games anyway. My friend Ashli came to help me and got me this bear. . . .thing. I wouldn't wanna keep it since I'm a guy, so I decided to give it to Lydia.
Fags for Life

If you're reading this post, Lydia, well, here's the bear you wanted.

Did a few sketches, and as usual, before I end a post, I would upload it to entertain your eyes. That's it for now, dancing in about 30seconds? And I'm not even in the car yet, sigh.

Finals

~Sibling Love~
. . .
No

First, I apologize for not publishing the second sketch album as promised, not yet at the very least, but here's the front cover to show you that I'm still working on it.

Anyway, I got into finals for Talentime, I'm so proud of my team members(in case you don't know, the Philharmonic Movements for Talentime consists of Iklil, a ballerina, Nicholas, a bboy, Farah, a fast learner and myself, the choreographer.), we been through hard shit yo, and we're about to go through even more. Thing is, we have to do ONE dance of our choice and ONE traditional dance. Knowing myself, I've never learn any traditional dance before. Apparently, the rest of my team members seem to know a specific routine and well, it saves the trouble to choreograph two dances. Yeah :D

I think I shall just end the post by showing you the pictures I took during my trip to the SAE Institution. So yeah, let's get rolling

Headlines: Hip Hopper and BBoy lost to Hindi Dancer

That sucked.

Let's start off from last Friday(17th April, 2010), went to SAE Institute Malaysia to learn about sound technology. I wasn't allowed to go since it was for the Form5s only, you know, they gotta graduate and find a suitable path to continue and all; but there were extra slots, so I got into the bus anyway.

Let me make this clear, they have the BEST sound system ever, the surround sound was like GOD-LIKE. If you like gadgets that are relevant with sound technology, that institute is where you should go. I'll list down the website for you in the next post along with pictures of it since phone's away and I'm lazy to transfer the images.

Anyway, went to Nishanth's birthday party yesterday. To put it shortly, it was fun, especially the part where there was a dance off. Honestly, I really felt cocky and thought I was going to win, but competition was tough, with my friend Nic as a Bboy and a Hindi dancer. Guess who won in the end? Nope, not me, neither was the Bboy, it was the Hindi dancer. Props to him man. Other than that, everything's great, played some newspaper game to test your balance and all, had great Indian-styled food and ended the night sweetly :)

That's about all, gotta go sleep soon, lacked of sleep these days. So yeah, KTHXBAI!
Who turned off the music?

Here I am, updating my blog when I have a pile of Intervention corrections needed to be done, not to mention the choreography of the school's Marionette dance. Heck, I haven't even been practicing my own routine for a nearby competition :X

Wizard

Heyya, people. Went for Ching Ming today, I know it's kindda late, but the family has lots of things to do for the pass weeks, so yeah. It started drizzling this morning, which delayed our trip to the graveyard(I'm sure there's a better word for it, I just don't remember). So we went to some stall to have another round of breakfast and god the white coffee there is just awesome, but since this isn't a food blog and I don't remember the name of the stall, I shall not advertise for it.

Took a while for the rain to stop, and once it did, it came back again; it's like as if some unknown force in the universe is stopping us from going to visit our elders. So during that delay I showed my grandmother and aunt a video on Youtube called Expression Crew's marionette performance. It was supposed to wow them, but on the first minute in the 10minute performance, they got bored and left. Sigh.

Speaking of Expression Crew's marionette performance, due to some recommendation by my friend, instead of performing Fuzzy Blue Light during Teachers' Day, we're going to recreate the marionette performance with a change in the story. And because of this sudden change in the performance, I decided to change the group name anyway, from now on it shall be known as Philharmonic Movements. Anyway, before I end this post, perhaps you would like to watch the video yourself, just be patient, it looks pretty boring at first.

Orchestral Harmonic

If you're reading this(which I doubt)
you know
I miss you, Kai Ni.

Pictures were taken 14 February 2009, those were great times preparing for the competition in Genting with my ex-partner, Kai Ni. Anyway, will be performing for Teacher's Day. It just seems even more real now that I have a name for the crew and a song to perform. All that is left to do is to find two more girls and ask the permission to perform and we're good to go.

For those who are curious, it's going to be called Orchestral Harmonic(if you think the name's gay then too bad for you :P) and the song we're going to perform is Fuzzy Blue Light by Owl City. Now for those who are interested in hip hop or ballroom , studies in SMKBB, and a girl(I'm not sexist, it's just that the guys took all the slot already) Then, contact me A.S.A.P, Andrew Yong from 3Jujur at your service. :D
