Just one moment ago my cousin's Christmas greetings arrived from Australia, such a cute snowman. How nice of her. So, anyway, let's talk more bout the 1Utama performance, shall we? So basically, the stage is like the picture below you. It looks big in some people's eyes, but it's actually really really tiny, you have to be careful of your step to prevent falling in front of I don't know, hundreds of people?
That picture was taken before the first performance, at round 11p.m. Looks eerie doesn't it? There isn't even a single person in the 1st floor, or the 2nd or any of the rest. So, on my second performance(11.12.09), I have a new partner, her name is Elliana Kok, quite funny and pretty also(lol?) cause I still got a nosebleed on the night before our performance.
Anyway, I arrived at the stage at 6:30p.m. cause my friend(Thien Wei) would treat me to dinner if I arrive before 7. But then my friend went off elsewhere, and just so happens I bumped into Pamela and John, also my friends and Elliana as well, so I decided to have light dinner with em. We ate at Little Cravings, had those chinese cold noodles(chu cheong fan lol), was simple but filling. Shortly afterwards we went back to stage to get changed. So yeah, we sat in our tailcoats and dress and waited for the musician to play their Christmas carol songs and what not. That's when things start to go very pathetic, they ask me IQ questions and sadly, I got all wrong. :(
Then, it's time to perform. Things went smoothly and swiftly. After our performance, we went to take a picture with the musicians and cam whore ourselves. And after that once I got ready to change back, guess who waited to see me? Aunty Karen of course! she came to congratulate all of us and so on, for a great performance, she even brought her cousin to come and watch. How nice. After that our principle came in and congratulate us as well and gave us the greatest news- WE'RE GETTING PAID FOR THE PERFORMANCE! Woohoo! This was actually worth cash after all. Then Thien Wei came in and told me that our client(1Utama CEO) was happy regarding on our performance, especially me. WHOA! Didn't know I would be recognized from this stage performance.
Well, that's all for the 1Utama performance. All I can say is, I failed to bargain for extra cash for my payment and I got a new nickname made by the performers- Sir Andrew the Small Boy (reason will be stated in future post). NOW, the moment you all have been waiting for... the video! I present to you, straight from Drewandproductions, Tangoueeeee!!!!
P.S. I like my ending for this dance, but I'm pretty sure the kids who went 'yeeeeerrrrr' doesnt like it at all.
